'A WALK THROUGH THE END OF TIME'
A play by Jessica Duchen
With Henry Goodman and Dame Harriet Walter

Messiaen's 'Quatuor pour la Fin du Temps' was composed and performed by him and three fellow captives in a German prisoner-of-war camp in Silesia in January 1941; it remains a source of wonder how music of such transcendental beauty could emerge from such conditions.

The extraordinary story of 'THE WOMEN'S ORCHESTRA OF
AUSCHWITZ' is told by Anita Lasker-Wallfisch the cellist who survived it.
