SCREENING OF EQUUS

Richard Rodney Bennett will be talking about the role of the film composer, and introducing the film ‘EQUUS’ for which he wrote the score.

The film which was made in 1977 was directed by Sidney Lumet from the screenplay by Peter Shaffer.  The film which received 3 Oscar nominations starred Richard Burton and Peter Firth, and also featured Colin Blakely, Joan Plowright, Eillen Atkins and Jenny Agutter.
