There is much great music on offer, all performed by top international artists. The Festival opens with what will surely be an exhilarating performance of David Fanshawe’s African Sanctus and our major theme of Music inspired by folk sources continues with concerts by Muzsikás, the Škampa Quartet and the She’koyokh Klezmer band. The Sitkovetsky Piano Trio and the City of London Sinfonia with Michael Collins will both perform music that may be more familiar and has folk music at its heart.

Our other theme of Music by Bach includes concerts with some of Bach’s most popular music for solo string instruments performed by world renowned violinist Christian Tetzlaff, Tabea Zimmermann (viola) and our patron and cellist, Raphael Wallfisch. The intimacy of these concerts will contrast well with the performance of Bach’s magnificent Christmas Oratorio by The Academy Choir and Baroque Players.

With other familiar artists such as Angela Hewitt, Dame Evelyn Glennie and more, as well as a wonderful family concert featuring Peter and the Wolf, I am sure you will agree that there is much to choose from at this year’s Wimbledon International Music Festival.

We continue to be hugely indebted to the Tertis Foundation and other trusts, as well as local corporate sponsors and, of course, our Benefactors and Friends. Without such support, the Wimbledon International Music Festival would cease to exist. Every little helps, so please do get in touch if you are able to add to this support in any way.

Please log on now to purchase your tickets!
